\nStepping out of bed and into a routine<\/p>\n
Healing is meditating outside at half-past seven in the still, cold morning air
\nBefore the vibrations of the people on their way to work stir it all up again
\nDetritus churning
\nBut that\u2019s later
\nNow the spider webs hold only steeply angled sunlight and dew.<\/p>\n
Healing is the gong of a struck cereal bowl
\nThe cushion of your seat
\nThe morning, waiting in emails to reach out and swoop you into blessed occupation
\nCoiled around a purpose
\nTaking time the ticking hours become something to complete
\nThe days become accomplishments
\nI want to reach back and grab all the wasted time
\nBut I hold onto forgiveness<\/p>\n
Healing is the small rituals of the familiar
\nMoving forward on a well worn trail
\nThe ground becoming solid from months of footsteps tamping it down
\nThoughts hold their meaning better over here
\nNot slipping through my fingers, dissipating in air
\nThe days of nauseous free-fall are over
\nHere I\u2019ve built strong handholds<\/p>\n
On the matt in child\u2019s pose
\nHealing is stolen moments of ease
\nThe satisfaction of not giving in
